These are animals in a coral reef
Coral Reefs are amazing! Coral reefs are warm and very shallow habitats. It provides a lot of shelter for many exqusite animals including jellyfish, sea stars, and lots of other fasinating animals. Coral reefs also provide lots of food for the animals.
There are two different types of coral, hard coral and soft coral. Hard corals have hard, limestone skeletons. The hard skeletons form from the basis of coral reefs. Soft corals do not build reefs.
There are corals all over the world. Some being big, and some being small. There are corals off the eastern coast of Africa, of the southern coast of India, in the Red Sea, and off the coasts of the northeast and northwest Australia and Polynesia.
Coral Reefs are very intresting and i have learned a lot about them.
